VP Marketing

Compensation: $170K-$190K + equity

Experience in Non-Profit Marketing a Plus.

The Company:

SaaS-based company that improves access to people in need of food, housing, healthcare, transportation, money, legal, work, education, clothing, and/or medical supplies.

The Problem We Solve: Creating access and connecting people in need with the programs that serve them.  We organize all government and charitable social service program information and make it easy for people in need and the people who help them to find help in seconds. These needs are classified as determinants for a person’s health outcomes.

The Challenge:
Though the company is the leader in this category among competitors, the company is not a household name among social care providers, broader stakeholder groups, or the population in need.

The Opportunity:
Build awareness and scale a brand strategy that drives growth opportunities nationally.  Lead our branding, messaging, digital engagement, growth marketing, and campaigns for our different marketplaces.

The VP Marketing will lead the marketing of this three-sided marketplace:
  • Seeker (person in need)
  • Customer (healthcare providers, including hospitals, plans and government)
  • Engagement w/ 450K non-profits nationally

Drive our marketing engine to include branding, messaging, and automation to maximize and make us a household name via campaign strategy and outreach.

DNA of a successful VP Marketing:
  • Proven brand marketing leadership  with a track record of high-growth scaling and measurable awareness building initiatives
  • Proven experience in mentoring and managing a growing team.
  • Significant, unmistakable impact to top-line revenue at a prior organization and drove high-growth scale, profitability, and market disruption during their tenure.
  • Loves a good challenge with an unflappable drive. Brings energetic, thoughtful leadership with a desire to manage and expand a winning team;
  • Experience executing on ambitious goals. You’re already built, or have been actively involved in scaling a sales team
  • Can thrive in ambiguity. You are decisive, take chances, and push through when others are ambivalent or hesitant.
  • Is kind.
